Several area communities have experienced situations where a person identifies themselves as a Town employee in order to get the resident away from the home so a second person can enter the home to steal valuables. If you are approached by anyone identifying themselves as a Kingston Town employee you should dial 9-1-1 so that a police officer can verify the persons identity.
